Overview

Atoll is a macOS menu bar application that provides Dynamic Island-style notifications for AI assistant sessions. This policy describes what data, if any, is collected.

Data Collection

Atoll does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The app operates entirely on your local machine with no server-side components, no analytics, and no tracking.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • Personal information (name, email, IP address)
  • Conversation content or chat messages
  • Tool execution details or command outputs
  • File paths or file contents
  • Token usage data
  • Device identifiers or analytics of any kind

Local Data

Atoll stores the following locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to any server.

  • Hook scripts in ~/.claude/hooks/ (for communicating with AI sessions)
  • Notification sound preference (in macOS UserDefaults)
  • Notch icon theme preference (in macOS UserDefaults)

Third-Party Services

Atoll does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. No data leaves your device.

Children's Privacy

Atoll does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
